Mauricia
Mauricia -meaning “the land of moors” in Latin- is a group of students of Architecture and related fields who aspire -through voluntary work- to revive Algeria’s architectural identity. We are based at the Institute of Architecture and Urbad Design - Batna within the University of Batna 1.
Our mission is contributing to the creation of a better environment for architects and architecture students to thrive and innovate.
We host hands-on workshops on much-needed field-related skills, digital and physical, ranging from poster design to 3D modeling to pitching znd leadership. .
We organize events that explore Algeria’s rich cultural and architectural heritage and celebrating our collective identity.
Seminars and presentations to deepen our academic and architectural understanding.
There is no better way in the digital age to communicate our visions and promote our goals than social media and content creation.
Planning and managing all club activities and public events.
Responsible of media work and content creation.
Organizes talks, papers, and deep academic work.
